Education Documents (School degree Diploma and Transcript of Records) will need to be assessed by the accredited institution during the first semester of studies.
This bachelor program in Economics orientates towards the field of business economics by putting an emphasis on education of skills and competencies that are esseantial for successfull carreer in future business organizations: sence thinking, creativity, working in multicultural teams, computational thinking, etc.. Students are provided with the knowledge in two fields: economics and finance. So they can get a sertificate about their education in finance upon request.
The Program is taught combined in Lithuanian and English language.
The program is enriched with external lecturers that comes from other universities, NGOs and business organizations. The studies includes internship that is organized mainly in international companies based in Lithuania and abroad.
Graduates of Economics will be able:
• to work as economist in business organizations of various industries;
• to become economic analyst in public and private organizations orientated towards industry surveys and research;
• to work in management team of private and public companies;
• to become an economic-financial consultant for private companies;
• to pursue studies in Master’s programs within VMU or other universities.
