Undergraduate diploma (or higher) Bachelor’s degree diploma or equivalent degree in one of these fields: Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Technological Sciences. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Lithuanian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take verified copies of the entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.

Overview

In this master’s study program, you will deepen your knowledge of molecular biology and molecular ecology, practice in the molecular diagnostics laboratory, get acquainted with the main research directions and methods of immunogenetics, and analyze genetically modified organisms. In addition, you will be able to choose subjects that interest you: from molecular methods in forensic medicine to molecular biology of medicinal plants. After these studies, you will be able to create, apply and improve molecular biology and biotechnology research methods, ensure research quality and independently develop new biotechnologies. The available knowledge will allow you to pursue a career in various biotechnological, biopharmaceutical and food industry companies, environmental protection research institutions. You will also be able to continue your studies in doctoral programs in life sciences and related fields.

The programme provides graduates with several general areas : Companies related to molecular biology, biotechnology, biopharmaceutics and food industry; Regulatory and monitoring agencies in the different departments of the national government.
