Entry qualification | Undergraduate diploma (or higher) Bachelor’s degree diploma or equivalent degree in one of these fields: Civil Engineering; Environmental Minimum 60% CGPA Admission score is counted based on: Motivation letter * 0,3 + Arithmetic average of bachelor’s degree diploma supplement all subjects * 0,4 + English grade * 0,3. Minimum admission score to qualify: 5,4. Official Transcripts/Academic Records (documents issued by the institution in an envelope stamped and sealed by the issuing institution) should be sent by mail directly to Vytautas Magnus University and by e-mail to recognition@vdu.lt. Transcript of records should list all the subjects, grades, credits and/or hours. Overview
The aim of the Programme is to train highly qualified engineering specialists capable of conducting scientific or applied research, evaluating water structures and their impact on the environment using advanced scientific methods, integrating knowledge of different fields to solve theoretical and practical water management problems, analyse and model environmental changes, engineering phenomena and processes using the latest information technologies. Graduates of this study programme are professionals who are welcome in the labour market, helping to find solutions to hydraulic engineering challenges and promoting progress in hydraulic engineering.
Career opportunities
Graduates can expect project, expert, consultancy and management work: in companies involved in the management, maintenance and administration of construction of water management systems and hydraulic structures; in companies involved in water management and environmental protection; scientific and pedagogical work in scientific and educational institutions of water engineering. Studies can be continued in the doctoral programme in the field of technological sciences.
