Entry qualification | Undergraduate diploma (or higher) Bachelor or equivalent degree in Mathematics, Informatics, Engineering or Economics Minimum 60% CGPA Admission score counting is based on: Arithmetic average of Bachelor degree diploma supplement * 0.4 + motivation letter * 0.3 + English * 0.3. Minimum admission score to qualify: 5,4. Official Transcripts/Academic Records (documents issued by the institution in an envelope stamped and sealed by the issuing institution) should be sent by mail directly to Vytautas Magnus University and by e-mail to recognition@vdu.lt. Transcript of records should list all the subjects, grades, credits and/or hours. Overview
The aims of the Applied Mathematics programme are:
• to prepare broad-minded specialists, who have strong foundation and adequate skills for applying and developing mathematical models for industry, business, finance and other areas;
• to cater to the demand for mathematics professionals for the knowledge society whose knowledge has at the same time a strong foundation, domain depth and interdisciplinarity and who are able to maintain and improve the professional competence trough lifelong learning.
Career opportunities
Graduates of the programme will be able to work as systems data analysts in various field, risk and reliability analysts, mathematical modelling specialists, researchers and lecturers.
