A letter with a transcript of records should be sent by email from your High School directly to Vytautas Magnus University International Cooperation Department email address – recognition@vdu.lt and by post: Vytautas Magnus University Transcript of Records should list all the subjects, grades, credits and/or hours The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Lithuanian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take verified copies of the entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. |

Overview
To be an economist is to understand people’s behavior in the market, to be able to analyze the economic processes taking place in the business and public sector and to make informed economic decisions in a world of limited resources. The program focuses not only on knowledge, economic theory and practice, but also on the changing world – the person, future competencies and opportunities that allow business and the country’s economy to flourish.

Viktorija Starkauskienė (Head of the study program): Our goal is to develop competent, analytical and critical economics and business specialists who are not only able to comprehensively analyze and solve national and global economic problems, but also know their strengths and enable them to create a better world in a new, useful and interesting way.

Aistė Ramanauskaitė (Finance director at BK Group): VMU economics studies helped to establish a solid foundation in the labor market, developed a wide range of competencies, creativity and curiosity. It has also instilled the notion that studies are just the beginning and that continuous learning is a matter of course. In order to achieve my and the company’s goals on a daily basis, I am faced with the evaluation of alternatives, the understanding of the motives of people’s behavior, I have to predict how today’s choices will affect the future.
