Entry qualification | High school / secondary education (or higher) A letter with a transcript of records should be sent by registered mail from your High School, which issued high school diploma for you, directly to Vytautas Magnus University International Relations Department, K. Donelaičio str. 58, 44248 Kaunas, Lithuania. Transcript of records should list all the subjects, grades, and credits and/or hours. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take verified copies of the entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. |

Language requirements | English Proof of English Language: applicant has to present document proving B2 level (TOEFL 87-109 iBT/534-633 PBT, IELTS 5-6,5, Cambridge English First (FCE), BEC Vantage, Michigan ECCE, PTE General Level 3, TOEIC Listening & Reading 785, TOEIC Speaking & Writing 310) if the applicant is not native speaker and/or had not received education in English. After admission, all students have to take English language test at the Institute of Foreign Languages at Vytautas Magnus University. If English level is below B2 students will have to study English to reach C1 level (in first four semesters of Bachelor studies). |

Overview
The aim of the Polish language and literature pedagogy program is to prepare highly qualified pedagogues for basic and secondary education with fundamental knowledge of Polish philology, who, based on the acquired intercultural, professional, general and personal competencies, would be able to ensure quality education, create various learning opportunities, develop students’ and their own competencies, be able to guide the acquired competencies in independent educational activities, other activities requiring knowledge of the Polish language and culture, and further learning.
Career opportunities
Graduates will be able to continue their studies in master’s programs in education or the humanities.
Graduates of the program will be ready for pedagogical work. They will be able to find employment:
• in general education schools, other educational institutions,
• in state, public and private organizations related to the Polish language, literature and culture, as well as linguistic and cultural education,
• in Polish media editorial office in Lithuania and abroad.
